Box in the box — a concept which came from childhood. Have you received a gift like this?
There are three different kinds of souvenirs from purchasing Genie 828. Since only retailers know what they are, question marks with different colours are used to differentiate it.
To make the promotion campaign impressive, funny and interesting packaging for those “unattractive” souvenirs should be a good idea by this way.

Nevertheless, an image which manifests “beauty but not obscene” was chosen, which was completely improve the brand positioning, as it used to be an “obscene only” image.

Succeed from the design concept from the
2014 edition, the concept of time was expounded
in another interesting way. The hall entrance was
set up with various pieces of mirror in different angle, reflecting the LED wall which playing with watch and clock motion graphics. It provided
an effect that the motion graphic played simultaneously in different angle, which abstractly told people that the meaning of “parallel time
and space” in a narrow sense — time is applied to anywhere and anyone; it is the same and
also different, upon our angle of view.
Rather than talking about the function or value of the products in the show, it was a good way to
build up a high-tech and up-market image, in order to strengthen the brand image of the fair.

Understanding the favour and taste of target audiences is the unique way to make a design project success. Classy and elegant ambience which attracted both exhibitors and buyers to
join the Wine & Spirits fair. Many painting from
Italy was showcased, which were sponsored by
one of the exhibitors. Composed by magnificent
structure and lighting, with burgundy and
gold colours, it successfully provided the
“Wine Gallery” environment, which was
completely match with the theme zone title.
In order to emphasis and promote the diversification of international exhibitors,
various wine labels are also designed
with localised characteristic and located at the
hall entrance as one of the point of eye-catching.
There was a gala dinner, which invited
supporting organisations and key clients,
held at the first night of the event. Since
the show was held at November, whole
ambience was designed by the symbol of
the autumn season — red leaves and
deciduous trees, supported by
starry night effect, which was created by
both graphic printing as well as LED
light setting. Tables and seats were arranged
in a form of banquet in chateau, which were
constructed by wooden framework
where hung with props grapes and red leaves.
Guests of the dinner enjoyed a very
cheerful evening.

In order to cope with challenge from Hennessy — their competitor, who just change its style to cater for the youngster market, Bisquit had to redevelop their brand identity.
The key theme is base on its I80th anniversary. The spiral symbolise “Tunnel of Time”, whilst typeface flowing along starting from Weiss font then gradually changes to Blur font, means the continuous progress in these I80 years.
Nevertheless the identity colour have to remains in dark red, cause over revamping will make the product hard to be distinguished by customers. Magenta and purple are then essential to make

“Tunnel of Time”, whilst typeface flowing along starting from Weiss font then gradually changes to Blur font, means the continuous progress in these I80 years.
Nevertheless the identity colour have to remains in dark red, cause over revamping will make the product hard to be distinguished by customers. Magenta and purple are then essential to make the design much contemporary.

Corporate identity of Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation exposed in particularly broad range of media. Thus systematic and well organised planning is most essential in order to produce the manual. Indeed it is the factor to make
the project success.
How to strengthen the corporate identity based on the well developed Maitreya logo is my responsibility. Experience gained from the KCRC corporate Identity project helps me handle corporate identity project smoother and more independent.
Being a brand-new coco bean sourcing agent, Cocaf lvoire strongly requests that
the logo should clearly indicate which kind of business they conduct. That was
how the coco bean been the core of the logo. The ellipse around it is a pair of “C” reflecting each other — which means they always stand on their client-side.
Whilst, yellow and brown are undoubtedly the best colours for coco beans.
Minimal graphic style was applied in order to carry out the theme ”Confluence” which was advised by the board of directors. Being a corporate literature, it match its persisted brand image as well. The content pages were worked along with
the style applied on the cover, with well organised editorial in order to introduce
the “Four Pillars”, which are the core value and principles of the organisation.

The core form where contained the BODW 2017 wordings was developed based on the national flag of Italy, which was the partner country of year 2017. The Italy colours were revamped to much vivid in order to build up a kind of contemporary impact, but it was still distinguishable. Azure used as the background colour
is widely used for Italian natioanl sport teams and well-known. According to
the tagline “Italy Makes a Difference”, the graphic visual was developed in the way of contrast to interpret such message. A pair of ribbon like stripes are extended in curve and spread direction from the core form (Italy national flag part), which is relatively formal, regular and aligned.

The Guiness marketing campaign is a good example for handling project with very limited budget and resources.
Black and red, which were its identity colours, been the main colour scheme of
the whole design. Regarding to the poster, the sexual visual concept was still
kept as the same as old design, which was requested by the client. Nevertheless,
an image which manifests “beauty but not obscene” was chosen, which was completely improve the brand positioning, as it used to be an “obscene only” image.
Actually there were many high quality images used for the leaflet before. Emphasising those images not only maximise the quality of the design but also make the leaflet impressive.

HKTDC x HKDC Fashion Workshop is the associate programme of HKTDC’s renowned fashion event “Centrestage”. The visual was developed based on
the sector graphic, as well as the colour scheme, which are based on the core
visual element of Centrestage.
With the close-up shot of products from the workshop moderators, it make
the visual a very clear message to target audiences, in order to attract and thus
raise the participation of the workshop.
A steady but dynamic image can enhance this qualified public relation firm serving blue clip clients to be even more outstanding in their industry.
Strong dark green line produces the sense of steadiness while the curve indicates its dynamics.
Assist to break through their clients’ business is always a feature that a public relation firm should have. A line with different colour breaks through the whole structure is well defined such principle. With the close-up shot of products from
the workshop moderators, it make the visual a very clear message to target audiences, in order to attract and thus raise the participation of the workshop.
Researching and completely understanding client’s business is essential to
the logo design project for the well established department store in China.
Hang Chang is decorated itself as a old-Shanghai style department store and is
a landmark in the town it locates. Thus, a “graphical Hang Chang tower” is playing
the role of core within the logo. The drawing style and colour scheme refers to
print materials produced in old Shanghai in the early 20th century in order to
echo with its brand image.

Emphasizing the attitude of Hong Kong’s service industry is the aim of the logo design competition. In recognition that Hong Kong is deeply influenced by
Chinese culture, a Chinese character was used to develop the symbol.
“誠” used as the designated character because it means polite, sincere and honest. These are the most important element for best service. Whilst, the red curve
in the centre was obtained from the posture of making a bow, which indicate the attitude of “serve”.
WEB & UI / UX
dmatters is the revamping of the traditional printed newsletter “d News”. In order to both raise publicity and save cost, it was transit into eDM. It was also an opportunity to promote the brand of HKDC by renaming and redesign the template. As it is transit into online platform, in which mobile device users are the main sector,
the design tempalte was worked largely based on mobile user experience. It is
a significant portfolio that applied graphic design skill on UX / UI field.

Succeed from the design concept from the 2014 edition, the concept of time
was expounded in another interesting way. The hall entrance was set up with various pieces of mirror in different angle, reflecting the LED wall which playing
with watch and clock motion graphics. It provided an effect that the motion graphic played simultaneously in different angle, which abstractly told people that
the meaning of “parallel time and space” in a narrow sense — time is applied to anywhere and anyone; it is the same and also different, upon our angle of view.
Rather than talking about the function or value of the products in the show, it was
a good way to build up a high-tech and up-market image, in order to strengthen
the brand image of the fair.
Toy bear is the symbolic icon of the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair. Cooperate with structural designer, the theme “Fun Factory” was created, which was talking about the robot bear and his “base”. The “base” environment was built as decoration and showcase setting for different zones. It was the magnum opus among my projects which shown my ability to execute design theme in funny and cute style.
The Asian Financial Forum project might not bean impressive design. However,
it was valuable experience that coordinated such giant scale conference in
the Asia region.
The identity colour in dark blue, as well as the selection of appropriate photos and converted into monotone, helped to spelt out the reliable image of Hong Kong financial market’s, as well as its leading position.

Understanding the favour and taste of target audiences is the unique way to
make a design project success. Classy and elegant ambience which attracted
both exhibitors and buyers to join the Wine & Spirits fair. Many painting from Italy was showcased, which were sponsored by one of the exhibitors. Composed by magnificent structure and lighting, with burgundy and gold colours, it successfully provided the “Wine Gallery” environment, which was completely match with
the theme zone title. In order to emphasis and promote the diversification of international exhibitors, various wine labels are also designed with localised characteristic and located at the hall entrance as one of the point of eye-catching.
There was a gala dinner, which invited supporting organisations and key clients,
held at the first night of the event. Since the show was held at November,
whole ambience was designed by the symbol of the autumn season — red leaves and deciduous trees, supported by starry night effect, which was created by both graphic printing as well as LED light setting. Tables and seats were arranged in
a form of banquet in chateau, which were constructed by wooden framework
where hung with props grapes and red leaves. Guests of the dinner enjoyed a very cheerful evening.

Hong Kong’s electronic exhibitions is far awaynot competitive with those worldwide renowned electronics exhibitions like CeBIT or CES. Under such situation, design working as a supporting force to package and strengthen the brand of the fair,
even to the electronics industry of Hong Kong, is relatively significant. A sci-fi ambience by various abstract geometry was formed to build-up a high technology image. The section of graphic design was associate with the “suspended cube” to spelt the trend and factor of nowadays electronics industry out — base on
the development of technology to create infinite possibility, in order to improve human live.
Generally, licensing is serious and strict in people’s mind. However, the licensed characters introduced by the show is always worth to talk about and it make
the overall ambience like a party indeed.
To spelt such cheerful and funny ambience, the vivid and colourful illustration played the role. The urban scene with neons in licensing symbols indicated
the popularity of licensing in the society. Combined with various graphics beam,
it created the overall illustration looks like a stage, which tightly match
the characteristics and image of the show.

Hong Kong Pavilion in ISPO Winter, Münich is the magnum opus among my overseas exhibition projects. The show is focus on sport products, which was represented by graphics in dynamic approach combined with the jumping
athlete image. It successfully create an aggressive image to the pavilion.
There are many scenes which would always be seen in the daily life. It itself
may not be an attractive element but it always can be a good media to recall people’s impression.
For the purpose of taking thematic photos for the project, various scenes in snapshot style were shoot. Such scenes will always be seen when we are walking on the street as a shopper. It is a good media to link people’s attention with HSBC PLC credit cards as they will get the same mood and impression when they get
the leaflet during consume in the associated merchants.
